I just bought Easy CD & DVD Burning; compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP. I have XP sp3. I have tried several several times to install the software but continually receive the message that "The certificate file is missing or corrupted." I have talked to customer service and they gave me a .bat extension file to run. I ran the file and still the software will not open. I have uninstalled and installed this software at least 3 times.
I have Sonic MyDvd version 4.5 (I know old), but it has worked wonderfully, until I bought a dual layer DVD burner. MyDvd does not support dual layer, so I bought the Roxio Easy CD & DVD Burning.
Do you think any of my old files are interfering with the new ones? It is very frustrating not even being able to open the software that you purchased. I'm not very computer literate so any "easy" fixes are appreciated. I have seen registry stuff and don't want to go there.
