Help This Dumb Person Please !

Hi there,

Sorry for this stupid question, but I'm a new user to Toast and have no idea how to burn a MP3 CD since Toast extracts audio files from my audio cds as AIFF. I can't believe I have to use iTunes to convert to MP3 first?! Tell me I do CAN record straight from Toast!

You're not dumb at all. Toast does not have an MP3 encoder. Never has. If you don't want to use iTunes to make the mp3 versions from your audio CDs you can use the freeware application Audion available Here.

 

Personally I prefer using iTunes to create and burn the MP3 CD rather than using Toast. Create your playlist, click the Burn Disc button and choose MP3 CD in the window that appears.
