Pause During Playback - Roxio 10

SoccerPictureman

Question

I am using Roxio 10 to create my DVD. I use Windows Movie Maker 2.6 to make a slide show and add music. I then make a movie in movie maker. I keep the movies about 15 minutes long so to have all my pictures on the DVD I have to have 2-3 movies created in Movie Maker. I create the project and add the movies from Movie Maker to the project. I also put at the end of the project some movies that were taken on the digital camera. I preview the movie in Roxio and everything works fine. I burn the DVD to a folder then use Roxio to burn the DVD as a data disc. The DVD plays fine with 1 exception. The transition between the movies has a 2-3 second pause. I would like to delete the pause.

Can I ask just one question?

Why are you using WMV to edit when you have the Roxio videowave editor and can add the content and create the full still slide show edited and interlaced with the video footage complete with transitions and music right in the editor and burn directly frm there?

Any pause between movies on a data disc is a function of your DVD player as it swaps between files, not the software used to put the movies on your data disc.

If you want to remove all pauses you should make one movie out of all the clips you are using, as Slowbow suggests.
