I just used Titanium Toast 10 to burn an 8GB HD-quicktime movie to a BD. I don't recall if I had a choice for multi-plexing versus encoding but I know that it did go through encoding. It took 37 hours to reach the end-point! How can I shorten the burn time? I shoot HDV and edit in FCP and save programs as QuickTime files. I have a Mac OSX 10.5.8. FWIW, the final BD looks great when I play it on a Sony Blu-ray player on my HDTV.
