Creator Pro 10 Fails To Boot

Alan 007

Question

I have corresponded with support for days....I followed removal and reinstallation instructions, including deletion of certain registry files as instructed. The program worked.....for 2 days...and then "not responding" was the message, again. Roxio said they won't continue to find a solution and will refund my purchase price........so what's wrong with this program???

Which one Easy Media Creator 10, Creator 2010 or Creator 10.2 or 10.3? You posted in Creator 2010 but your title said Creator 10.

Are you running any registry cleaners? I've had it for many months and have never had a problem unless I did something to screw up the program or my registry. How many people are using your computer? Are you the administrator? Are you adding any other new programs? Did it work for more than 2 days in the past? Are you using any programs that change the appearance f Windows (like Window Blinds? What anti-virus are you running; is it trying to clean your registry?

what is wrong with the program? Usually it is one of the above or it is loaded on a computer that barely meets the requirements or it is being run by someone who is impatient and doesn't allow the program to finish what it was doing?

Have you checked your hard drive for errors or your memory? I had a hard rive with unmarked errors and my program would crap out whenever I did anything - it was an much earlier version or a Roxio program. It took me awhile to realize that my hard drive was the problem.
