Currently using Creator 2010 with SP2 and Patch

 

I searched the forum and reviewed what I could find, but I'm still confused about "Chapter Menus".

 

I have added chapters manually to a movie and followed the step-by-step instruction (page 211) in the User Guide. I get to step 5 that says "If you want to create a submenu containing a button for each chapter, select the Generate chapter menu(s) and link to selected button check box". I can not find this "check box" anywhere. However, I did see it on one of Jim Hardins pinned posts, but I can not navigate there.

Sounds like you are on the "Movie" tab in the Project View section instead of the "Menu" tab.

I em on the Menu Tab and I had seen this previous post, but it does not show the "Generate chapter menu(s)....." check box either. What I did find out after I posted was that if I closed 2010 and opened 2009, this version does have this button where it says it should be, but 2010 does not seem to.

 

Also, the movie I am working with has 15 chapters I added in MyDVD. Is it possible to play the entire movie from the Main menu, but also play each chapter from the Chapter menu?
