Mydvd: Chapter Menu Is Full

LkwdAngel

Question

Creator 2009 (I also have Creato 2010 but I am unable to get it to work)

MyDVD

Using "Premier" menu style. This styles has 4 movie menu titles. However, I want to have the menu to have 5 titles.

After adding the first 4 movies (using "Add new movie") I attempt to add the 5th one. I get the following message:

The current menu is full. Would you like to add another one? I select no (because I want all these movies on the same menu). The program creates the title name which is overlaying some of the other titles. I move it down to the bottom of the other 4, in the 5th position where I want it.

If the program keeps the 5 titles on the menu can I assume that they will remain that way and will be selectable for viewing?

That is something you have to try yourself. You should be able to see if it works in preview. If that doesn't work, another way is to encode the project to an ISO file and then preview the ISO file using the free VLC player. If it looks OK, then all you have to do is to burn the ISO file to a DVD. If it doesn't work, then you can delete the ISO and try again.

I did try it myself. It looked and worked fine in preview. Took your suggestion and downloaded the free VLC player and played the .iso file and it looked good too. So it does look like one can push the limits and maybe add another title if the menu is full. There probally is a limit where adding too many may create another menu.

Thanks for your reply and suggestion.
