Roxio And Pinnacle Tv Problem

silentjogger

Question

I just installed Roxio Creator Pro and the blue ray plug in and the usb video capture device. My Pinnacle TV Center Pro (usb device) no longer works. I have uninstalled and re-installed Pinnacle but it will not pick up TV signals when I run the scan. It works when installed on another computer. Is there a known issue between Roxio and Pinnacle?

There is NOTHING to install for the Roxio Video Capture USB device… What did you do for that?

What OS are you using?

I have the TVCenter Pro as a card rather than a USB and the software does not work right in Win7… (I put it back onto an XP PC and it works again)

Does it work if you unplug the capture device?

There may be an IRQ conflict causing that

I have only installed the drivers for the video capture device, I have not plugged it in yet. The reply I just got back from Roxio is they want me to uninstall Roxio and then test the Pinnacle to see if it works.

Interesting. That is about the size and date for the copy and convert video capture patch.

That has to be the one, since it is the only May patch that shows up on the Update site.

And, you are correct, but it is interesting, because the size, and date that silentjogger mentioned, does not reflect the time, or size, of what is listed on Roxio's Update page.
