Mts2 Video To Ipad

Hi. I use a Sony HD camcorder and want to easily store and view on my new iPad. I see in my Roxio 2010 Creator suite it has the converter, but the resolutions offers do not match anything the ipad can use for high quality. The settings for dvd and general video export uses the MPEG2 format which ipad does not like (this should export to MPEG4). When you export for iphone and itouch it makes the resolution too small for the ipad, or when it is expaned, it is way too pixelated. I have not seen any updates from Roxio, are they behind the times? Any suggestions for other tools within the suite?

Thanks

What resolution and format do you need/want? I see 640 by 480 for mpg4.

Yes, since the IPad is relatively recent and Creator 2010 is almost a year old, you might say that it is behind the time for the IPad.

Have you tried to add the file to "Edit Videos- Advanced" and output the file from there? There are a lot of options.

BTW, An "average consumer" would not have the IPad (yet)

Edit: Perhaps you should do a little more reading. It took me only a few minutes to see that the IPad will take H264 format at near to high definition. Did you try that?
