After I Installed Roxio 8...

Question

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, but after I installed the Roxio Easy Media Creator 8 Suite, all of the files in the 'My Documents' Folder got deleted, it even deleted files out of my Windows folder in the C Drive. I used a recovery program and got all of my files back, and hit the repair option for Roxio 8, as soon as it was done, the files were gone, so i reformated my computer, after backing up my files again to dvds. Should I try re-installing Roxio 8, or not? I really need to use it, but am afraid of the consequences, any suggestions?

I find that very hard to believe. It's pretty hard to delete files in the Windows folder as most are either protected or in use. If you could prove Roxio did this, it would be serious. Now, I'm not calling you a liar by any means just that there's got to be an explanation other than a Roxio install deleted files.

Is your system running smoothly? Can you access the programs you have installed?
