Installation Snafu

AlwaysConfused

Question

I recently purchased Roxio Creator 2010, downloading it on-line. I think that the power might have gone out during the downloading process, but I'm not sure. On my desktop, two of the very general "computer screen-looking" icons appear, each with the proper Roxio description ("Roxio Creator 2010 HX19AXCOR13" and "Roxio Creator 2010 Content HV13AXDOSQA"), instead of the actual Roxio icons. When I try to run either one, they begin an "unzipping" process which ends with some reference to my Phillips Photo Manager installment?????

My credit card statetment shows that I WAS charged for the software, so I dare not download it again and be charged again.

Can anyone suggest anything?

It's possible that the files were corrupted in the download. If you still have the original e-mail with the access codes you shouldn't be charged again.

However, to check the files, open them with winzip or winrar (they're self-extracting zip files) and copy the contents to two temp folders and then run setup.exe from the Creator folder and then fropm the Content folder

If they fail to extract or you receive a warning message, the download was corrupted
