No Extract Button When Trying To Extract!

I have extracted portions of movies before using Toast 10, but now, when trying to do the same thing with video files on my computer, the EXTRACT button does not appear when I drag and drop the files I want to cut...I now only get the EDIT button, which doesn't give me what I need! WHY?!!

 

I just want to be able to take a 10 second clip from a video...why won't it let me do it anymore??

 

Please help!

The extract button is gone in Toast 10.0.7. Instead you click the Edit button. Some video formats can be trimmed in that window. Some video formats have another Edit button appear. Clicking the second Edit button launches the Toast Video Player/Editor which is what was once launched by clicking the former Extract button.
