NewbieEditor
Hi. I have various AVI clips which have native audio at varying volumes. I have added the clips to Videowave but how do I get the Native Audio volume to be one volume all the way through the joined clips ? Thanks

Thanks There may be another way of doing it but what I do is, after everything is finsihed in my production, I output the production to my desired video format. There is a normalize option there. This works. Of cours, if I select mpg2 then the video file is already encoded and will not have to be re-encoded in MyDVD.

I have added the clips to Videowave but how do I get the Native Audio volume to be one volume all the way through the joined clips ? Thanks For Video Quality, I don't get the Same As Original Option. Also when I 'stitch' together, the combined output is unreadable where as the original avi files are fine.
sknis
For Video Quality, I don't get the Same As Original Option. Also when I 'stitch' together, the combined output is unreadable where as the original avi files are fine. I just posted that to show you where the audio option is located. You didn't say what you want to do with the video. If you are going to put the video on a DVD, then you would select mpg2 for DVD, best quality. Please explain the bolded statement. You did not say that in your original post. What kind of AVI files are they and where did you get them? More information please. Electrons are inexpensive so you can be a little more wordy. If you are sending via cell phone, don't; use a computer.
Jim_Hardin
The 'Same As Original' option is only available when the VW Project is set to 16:9. Like Steve, I would sure like you to explain that statement in more detail
NewbieEditor
Hi Guys Ignore the display issue, I've resolved that. The issue still is that I have 4 mini AVI files with approximately the same volume audio and then 2 mini AVI files with much lower audio. I want the audio level to be the same when made into one file. Please help. I tried normalise but that doesn't seem to work. Thanks.
