Opening And Closing Credit Hangups

I'm running Creator 2010. I've downloaded a few commercial movies (I know - not legal) and transferred them to DVD. The transfers work fine with one small problem - on every one of them (about six) playback hangs up during the opening and closing credits of each movie, causing me to fast-forward past the hangups. This happens whether I record with menus or without. Once past the opening hangup the movies play fine until the closing credits, where it hangs up again. Any suggestions or ideas?

I've never had this problem with shorter videos - only full-length movies.
