sydnismom
Going back 3 plus years for an old thread doesn't even reflect what is available today. s-mom does your computer meet the minimum requirments for the application? It sounds like your video chip/card is out of date, doesn't support DirectX 9c or just isn't good enough. Did you get the right one for your operating system? You didn't post that information. For the Vista OS: Minimum System Requirements: Microsoft® Windows Vista™ ( Windows XP support found in CinePlayer™ DVD Decoder Pack for Windows XP) 1 GHz 32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) processor 512 MB of system memory Support for DirectX 9 graphics and 32 MB of graphics memory DVD-ROM drive Audio output For XP OS: Minimum System Requirements: Microsoft® Windows XP (Vista support in CinePlayer™ DVD Decoder Pack for Windows Vista) Pentium II 400 MHz Processor with MMX Extensions (Sonic CinePlayer DVD Decoder Pack for Windows XP can perform satisfactorily in a lower-speed system when the VGA adapter includes hardware video acceleration features such as motion compensation or iDCT using DirectX VA) Bus-Mastering DVD-ROM Drive 32MB System RAM Supports a variety of VGA cards Playback of DVD disc-based media requires a DVD drive. not real tech savvy and never posted on a board before so hopefully i do this right... it has windows xp home edition version 2002 iwth service pack 2, mobile amd athlon 64, processer 4000+, 1.58 ghz, 1.00 gb of ram, for the dvd it says hl-dt-st dvd-rw gca-4080n... does that help? let me know if not and if you can, advise where i can find any more needed info. thanks so much!!
