Question

man im bummed--my fav overlays in 7.5 was film strip and fireworks, and unless im going blind i dont see them in 2010,,am i missing something.Almost done editting, putting the final touches, and it seems like 2010 takes a less intuitive, more complcated route than 7.5, but im stuck since i have AVCHD files. Thanks for any help in finding/using these overlays--bob

yes i still have 7.5 installed on the same computer---how would i go about using them as overlays in my 2010 production--thanks

You have EMC 7.5 and C2010 running on the same computer? In what OS?

Look in the folder Roxio/Easy Media Creator 7/Content/Overlays. You should be able to use any of these clips as overlays by putting them on the overlays tracks of C2010.

Many years ago before I decided to uninstall V7, I copied all the still images and video files that were used to a back up folder. I did the same thing with V8 and all following versions. Needless to say , I have a huge folder of Video content now. :-) Plus tons of free stuff I find on the net, too.
