Got A Clip From Youtube That Is 1.22Gb? Can I Clip Just The Part I Want?

I was able to get a video from You tube into Popcorn. I have it ready to convert but it is showing that there is 0 bytes remaining and the button at the bottom is gray.

 

Any ideas? The two other clips I used were very small.

 

This is my first Mac, and I am new to Popcorn and iMovie. I am making a imovie for my parent's anniversary party.

Did you capture the YouTube clip using Popcorn's Web Video capture in the Media Browser? After completing the capture drag it to the main Popcorn window. I've never seen the red button turn gray. I seem to be confused by your description.
