I am trying to capture a homemade video of a TV cooking show. I also tried an older video: Legend . I was able to capture on the XP version of Easy VHS when I still had XP. Thanks and I'll also take a look at your other post A
I am going to guess you have the 1.2.198 version as opposed to the newer 201B… First thing is to pin down the problem with capture. For testing, can you hook it up to another source, such as a TV or camcorder. See how that looks. You can make adjustments at the time you capture but they are Blanket and will apply to the entire capture. That means if you have a rough spot on your tape and adjust settings to compensate, those same adjustments will be applied to all of the capture. An alternate (better?) approach is to make the adjustments after capture using Edit Video (VideoWave) then use that adjusted clip… Digital Guru, I get as far as Capture Now but it is not highlighted so I don't even get a spinning circle if I click on it. I use Windows Vista Desktop, what am I doing WRONG?
Jim_Hardin
Digital Guru, I get as far as Capture Now but it is not highlighted so I don't even get a spinning circle if I click on it. I use Windows Vista Desktop, what am I doing WRONG? Without knowing the Version not much we can offer - there are 3 different versions… Also, while you are getting that, open your Device Manager and with the USB device plugged in, see if these 2 entries are present: Hopefully with that, we will know where to go
