Installing Ver. 1.1.124 Onto Win 7 64Bit Os

mapdan

Question

I have the first generation VHS to DVD (version 1.1.124) for Win XP/Vista which I'm trying to install on Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit computer.

I have changed the setup file compatibility to use Win Vista. I plugged in the USB before I put in the installation DVD. I went through the paces of the loading process.

Where it starts having problems is when it "Installing Video Capture USB". The setup just hangs for an indefinite period of time. Even if I leave it alone for 30 minutes, it doesn't budge.

It is even possible to install the first generation on a Windows 7 machine? If so, what am I doing wrong?

I went even so far as to install the program in the WIndows XP mode in the Windows 7 virtual machine, but when I go to capture video, the video function won't work because of the virtual machine.
