Unable To Copy Web Video Roxio 2010

i am trying to view and save web video files from you tube using the Roxio Creator 2010 pro, Video Copy and Convert feature. It tells me to launch the web browser, which i would do but then nothing happens. i am playing the video to its last but still no change. I have followed the in instructions in Knowledgebase Article : 000231CR.

Please post a link to that video and we'll try it. Some video is still DRM protected and you cannot download it.

Are you trying to run the YouTube video from a saved file on your computer ? If so, that won't work. You need to actually be on the internet with your browser and running the YouTube video. As soon as you start running the video, you should get a screen showing "loading" the video, Wait till that has completed, then "add" it to the captured C&CV program. So start the YouTube video first and then click on the "web Video" option in the C&C Video program to see if you get the "Loading" screen.

 

As sknis has suggested, if you can post the link to that particular YouTube video, that would help a great deal.

It's a long video and needs time to load!

 

Close Roxio and restart it open Video Copy and Convert, Web Video, then launch your browser to the youtube link..

Your YouTube Video worked for me too Oddly enough though when it was loading I didn't get the text on the screen saying "Loading". But never the less it worked fine.

Same here - downloaded (after the 'loading' screen_, but any youtube download does require that the full file be imported before it will work.

 

As pointed out, this is a long one so you just have to wait for completion.
