Green Screen Issues

Bobo_dude16

Question

I am trying to use the chroma key on the video wave editor, and when I set the settings to the grren screen in the back ground, it also takes out part of my face and white shirt. Also note I am trying to use green screen in a video

thanks

edit: also, this screen is not ironed out, but when I tested it with an ironed out blue screen, the same issue happened

Sounds like the color (hue or shadow) you are choosing is in those other object also. When you select the color, use the medicine dropper to select the exact background. You may have to chose a couple of them.

If you are trying to do advanced work like green screen, make sure your monitor is calibrated so you can see the exact colors. Get a colorimeter to set the colors or use the monitor's built in program to set the colors.
