zinck
How do I set up my project to burn a dvd where I will have the option on the TV to click and play my video? Thanks!
zinck
You use the task "Create DVD" and in the menu task bar select File/new and then DVD It might be best though if get some more background information on the whole workflow strategy. This post by Jim Hardin is an excellent one that should help you get started. Thanks for recommending that. It is helpful. Yesterday I burned my first DVD. It ended up with music/audio on the menu. I do NOT want that audio. What is the best option for a simple but attractive menu? I am doing a presentation for a church. Also, how can I change the background of the menu? It seems to automatically choose a frame from my video. But I'd like something else. Simple but professional. As you can see I'm new at this and still learning even the basics. Thanks again!!! Unfortunately, you must do some reading and studing yourself. We cannot take you step by step all the way through everything. There are a lot of good "how to" videos but you must take the time to learn; you cannot just go off doing something without understanding what you are doing. That will give you and us lot of frustration in tying to answer simple basic questions (like in your other thread) As for the menu; Read/watch this (link). It is for a earlier version but will work in Creator 2009. Take your time and think!
zinck
I think you misunderstood my question. My project is finished. I'm not talking about the sound tracks in the video. I'm talking about the first screen that comes up on the TV when the DVD comes on. I'd like a professional background and a simple button to click on to play my video. And I want it to be silent. I don't want audio from Roxio on the menu page. I am grateful for the help and will soon stop asking questions. Thank you!

Click on the blue text. Did you read it and watch the video? I did understand what you had said and posted a reply on how to change the menu. Of course, you cannot change the menu once the project is burned to a disc. Do not stop asking questions but do take the time to read the responses and the use or question the terms that are used. Are you familiar with the manual (link, click here) and Roxio My Moments (link) . Go to the Tip and Tricks section of the forum for Easy Media Creator 9(link) . There are a lot of beginner type help information there.
zinck
All of the menu styles seem to come with audio. I do NOT want any audio on the menu screen. I am using Creator 2009. The screen you showed on July 22 at 8:10 pm is NOT what my program has. I have the edit options you have arrows pointing to. However I do NOT have a button for music or for audio. Most of the buttons I have are for editing text (font, size, color) and I have a button to preview. But I don't see any option for removing the audio. I'd like silence. Thank you for your help!!! :D Larry

Simply use the post # in the upper right corner of a post. What program from the suite do you have open, what does it say in the title bar? In the project view panel, select ``Your Title Here`` or whatever it says on your screen and see if it changes.
zinck
Thank you VERY much for the prompt reply. I'm in a time crunch as I am working up this video report and will be leaving the country tomorrow. I am using Roxio VideoWave. I was referring to your post #6 that had the picture. In myDVD express I click on the YOUR TITLE HERE but there is still NO speaker icon. Just the things I mentioned earlier: buttons for editing text (font, size, color) and I have a button to preview. This whole thing seems much harder than it should be. Thanks for helping me with this!!! :D Larry
