Please help Steve Perhaps the terms you posted are familiar to you but not necessarily to us in context. Video Acceleration is a Windows setting and depends on which version of Windows you are using. Video Overlay?? Hardware encode - not hardware acceleration is usually in Video Wave or in My DVD. Screen recorder? , I'm familiar with Jing and with Camtasia Studio but what are you trying to use? You cannot do a screen capture using Media Import. Are you trying to use a TV card/device or are you trying to capture a video from something like YouTube? For YouTube use Video Copy and convert.
