sknis
My creator premier is currently converting a movie to dvd, but it has stuck on 8% can any1 help me with this problem? What application? What version? How long has it been stuck? What movie? Application = part of the suite; look in the upper left of the screen being used. Version -Creator 2010, 2009, Easy Media Creator 10, 9,8, etc. Remember the program will NOT work if you are trying to work with a movie that is protected via DRM (commercial disc.) sknis
Roxio video and convert, the movie is GREEN ZONE, it has been stuck at 8% when it start about half an hour ago. The movie is a video clip i had saved to my laptop. Cancel that out. Open "Edit Video -Advanced" (Video Wave) add the video to that and then select to output (icon at top) to the format you are looking for. What isthe intial format and what are you trying to convert it to? Where did you get the video clip? If you got it from something like Bit Torrent, then what you are doing is illegal and this thread will be closed.

sknis
I cant find edit video advanced, when i canceled it the program crashed, so i ended task started again and i cant find this (video wave) I am trying to convert the file into a dvd, not sure what file it is as it only says video clip. I got this file off a usb dongle Again you do have to be much more specific. "USB Dongle"? The Roxio one? What was the original source of the video you captured? Again, that is a new movie and should be under DRM protection. If it is a trailer, then that would typically not be protected. What did you plug into the dongle? If you do not respond to this question, it will be assumed that you are trying to break protection and the thread will be closed. Are you going to add a menu and more than one video? How long is the video - at most, one hour at best quality. If no menu and only one video, forget Video Wave. You must have an older version of the application. Which version? Try this. Open MyDVD, go to the menu on the top left, select file and then select DVD no menu. Add that video clip to My DVD. To the bottom right , select HQ (high quality) Select to burn. Select burn to ISO file. De-select the other options. Name the ISO file and tell the program where you want it. Select burn. If the program hangs, the video clip is bad or DRM protected. There is nothing you can do except get another copy of the clip. If the ISO completes, you can then burn (not copy) the ISO file to a disc. Unless you tell use what version you have it is difficult to tell you the exact directions. There should be a version number which could be a numerical designation (10, 9, 8 with or without a decimal point like 10.1) or a year designation (2010, 2009) By the way, use Windows Explorer (not IE) to change the folder options to show hidden file extensions. All i know is that i am trying to convert and it is crashing every time at this stage. Also if i convert a movie to my iphone it is painfully slow. I bought this because it promised to be faster than everything else i tried. I am growing increasingly frustrated Unless you tell use what version you have it is difficult to tell you the exact directions.
