Will Toast Work This This Rosewill Usb Burner?

I've got a Macbook pro out of warranty and with a broken disc drive - I'm looking to replace this functionality with this device:

Toast will work with any disc burner that is recognized as such by the Mac. In other words, if the Mac's System Profiler shows that it has a DVD burner connected then Toast also will see the same. As you can tell I am hedging because it's the Mac, not Toast, that makes this determination. It should work fine presuming your USB ports are working with their full power.
