"proxy Manager Has Stopped Working"

I am having problems installing and running the VHS to DVD recording.

 

The software gives me an error "Can't burn to DVD: Error HRESULT E_FAIL has been returned from a call to a COM component".

 

Does anyone know how to fix this. I am very frustrated.

When I start the VHStoDVD Rev E, I get this message from Microsoft Windows(Vista): "Proxy Manager has stopped working" and doesn't let start the program.

I downloaded Service Pack 1 for Vista.

Can anyone help?

Vistat SP2 is listed as the Minumum Requirements.

 

Uninstall V2D, reboot, install Vista SP2 and then install V2D.

 

See if that clears up the problems.

weneverwrite: Why don't you start a new Topic and outline your problem's specifics and include the Specs on your PC.
