Video Distorted After Importing

I have been using Videowave for about 8 months now and it has been fine. Just recently tho, when I import a MP4 file, some of them end up distorted (for lack of a better way to describe here) when I am previewing in the program and then when I finish the production. Like flashes of light and spots on some. The same files play perfectly in Quicktime. Anyone have this issue and hopefully a way to resolve it? Thanks in advance.

Do the older MP4 files, that worked before, still work?

 

I have a new camera that produces the MP4 files so I don't have any older ones. My old camera had .avi files. It does not happen to every file from the camera, just a couple so far. The files play just fine in other programs.
