Kody
Ok, i've changed computers and I've lost my product key how do I get a new one?
Brendon
You'll probably have to buy a new product, unless you registered the old one. Or you could go back to the old computer and get the number before you uninstall the product from there. If you registered it, the number will be available to you by logging into "My Account" on the Roxio support page, but it's your responsibility to preserve your product key. Kody
Okay, the program is still on my old computer. So the product key should be on that program somewhere?
Brendon
Yes, the product key should be in the registry key associated with that product. You'll need to uninstall it from the old computer since your EULA allows you to have it installed on only one machine, but get the key before you uninstall it because it might not be there afterwards. sknis
Thank you so much, i appreciate your time! If the old computer is still Internet ready, download and run Belarc Advisor (free). tt will list all the keys that it can find. You can download it to a USB thumbdrive and install it on the old computer. If the new computer is Windows 7, only a few Roxio products will run on it.
