Where Do Blu-Ray Encoded Files Go?

Toast 10 just spent 23 hours encoding my 2-hour video for Blu-ray burning. Then my external burner failed to actually burn the disc.

 

Where are the encoded video and audio files, so I can immediately go to burning now? If I have to start over and go through another 23 hours -- How Come?

They should be in the Roxio Converted Items folder in your Documents folder unless you quit Toast and the folder was automatically emptied. You can change Toast's preferences for when that folder empties. Toast usually recognizes when it has the encoded files in the converted items folder and does not start encoding from the beginning again, as long as Toast hasn't been closed.
