Syncing Photoshow Tools With Slideshow

mlp52

Question

I have made a couple slideshows in photoshow & really like the borders & the funky lettering. Now I want to do a proper job using Roxio slideshow, but the borders are boring & cover up my pics & the lettering is very boring & limited as well. Is it possible to use the photoshow tools while I'm in slideshow? AND....is there any place where I can get additional funky stuff for my slideshows?

thanks

marie

There are some programs out there that will do what you want for some extra $$ (not from Roxio. A couple of people have tried them and they work as overlays. I don't remember the names but someone will come here and give you the information (I hope).

Thanks Steve. Your gentleness is very appreciated.

No and No; sorry  BUT

Rather than working with the Slide Show Assistant (I assume that you are talking about the Assiatant), try working with Video Wave (Edit Video-Advanced). It has more options but not the same as PhotoShow. Here (link) is some help from karri that shows you the possibilities.

What a shame........ Thank you so much for saving me tons of time trying to sync the two. I am using videowave. Trial & error, but I'm getting the hang of it. I do wish there was more zips, flares & funky stuff on videowave editor though. How the the professionals do it? Is there a program out there that does all the extra stuff?

thanks a bunch!

m ......& thanks for the great link, I've put it in my favorites.

I don't know what more you expect? VW has hundreds of effects, overlays and transitions.

Zips, flares & funky stuff? Which do you want: a slideshow with lots of SFX or a slideshow that highlights your pictures? I doubt very much that any real professionals would bother with lots of "Zips, flares & funky stuff"

The zips & flares I'm talking about are in the "writing' tools. Effects that allows me to have a word shoot in on a trail of fire...... cloud type balls , stars, stuff that allows my letters to come in & turn themselves around & then disappear. That's the kind of stuff I'm wanting. Just watched some of the link & found out I can make my own borders.

Maybe I haven't found all the effects yet, or don't know how to access them.

thanks anyway.
