Buttons Don't Show Up

From the main menu I created two buttons one for "Video" and "Chapters". When clicking on the "Chapters" menu you are taken to a other menu that has chapters, on this screen the "next" button and "home" button are not showing up. The option for the "next" button is listed in on the right of my screen under Menus, and if I click/highlight it it is showing with a red box on the preview screen but there is nothing in the red box. Any suggestions?

If I understood this??? You have a Project with One movie and many Chapters w/Chapter Menus:

 

Standard behavior when you create Chapters is for the Movie button to no longer play the movie but take you to the Chapter menu page.

 

The Next Button there will go to the next Chapter page.

 

So the Navigation buttons, Next, Back, Home, are not movies and only take you to the pages where the Movies & Chapters reside.

If I read the original post, the OP has nothing but a red box where the icons should be. Is that correct?

Yes, the above is correct. But I had just installed SP 2 and the problem is resolve. Thanks for all the help.
