Having used the supplied Roxio software to burn CD's and DVD's successfully since I bought my Dell 3 years ago. I find today I get an error message when trying to copy files to DVD.
It now asks me to insert the Roxio Record Now data disc which I don't have as the Roxio burning software was pre-installed on the PC.
Same thing happens if I try to use Windows to copy files. I get "Windows encountered a problem. What do you want Windows to do?" Then it asks for the Roxio Record Now disc again.
The CD writing Wizard tells me there is no disc in the drive but there is. I have tried various blank DVDs.
The drive works and displays content when I put a data disc in.
