Question

hello,

i recently bought "roxio easy VHS to DVD".

i installed the software, connected the hardware. when trying to capture a video, it says "no signal".

it works when selecting the webcam as source, so i dont think it is a software problem. i tried with 2 diffrent VHS with no luck.

setting: old VHS with scart-output converted to red-white-yellow cable. other end connected to the roxio video capture usb which is connected to the front usb of my desktop.

dont see my problem :s

please help

thx

and i did press on play on th VHS..

roxio video capture USB driver version: 5.8.912.1114

OS: windows XP SP3

my dvdplayer broke and i dont have any other equipment to test the roxio video capture usb :s

i will try to borrow a friends.

my scart-to-Composite converter only has 11 pins. could that be the problem?

i tested it with different cables, different scart-to-Composite (both 11 pins) and different VHS.

Their are many different configurations for Scart cable's. You need one like this http://www.amazon.co...41109242&sr=8-1 .

I can't tell you how many pins are used in the cable above, but I know it will work in your application here.
