Hello. I am new to all of this and was watching some of the tutorials. It appears that Creator 2010 can capture from a DVD and that the clips can be edited in videowave(adding transitions and effects). It has been my understanding that dvd video(MPEG2) is not an editable format. How does Creator manage this? I apologize if this is a dumb question.

No need to capture un-encrypted DVD's just copy them to your hard drive with explorer...

mpg2 is editable but not on the disc. Except for special case discs which I'm sure that you are not talking about.

Thanks that makes sense. I was thinking not editable meant you needed a conversion to a different format.
