Wrong Software?

petersfancy

Question

Have I purchased the wrong software? I want to take the photographs already on my computer, put them into an order, which I need to narrate to make the content clearer. On a technical matter, I am unable to use the Media Manager because an on screen message tells me that the screen resolution is not 1024 x 768/16 bit or higher although it is set for higher than those specs. I had an earlier version, Easy CD5?, that had all the bells and whistles I wanted, but that computer lacked the sound capability that this current HP does have. Thanks for any help in finding real help.

1) Update the drivers for your video card. Change your resolution to those specs. What do you have it at now?

2) Watch this. It is one of the severalthat karri made available.

First of all, thank you for your answer. The settings were 1366 x 768 originally, and I restored them after changing to a slightly lower setting. The computer is a HP AMD Athlon Dual-Core Q64 2.10 GHz with 4 MG RAM, as for updating the video drivers I'm not sure how to do that. The NVidia "device is working" according to the Control panel. I have watched the first emc tips video. I didn't realize that a 'slideshow', or a group of images was a video, but the information may be highly useful, and I will look at others 'tips'. I don't find the downloaded pdf manual as helpful.
