I am looking to purchase Roxio Creator 2010. If I create a slideshow with my pictures and save them to a web site to share with friends, can I burn the pics directly to a dvd of my own from this web site? Is there anything special I have to do?

Web video is usually low quality Best thing would be to create completely separate files. You can easily create a high quality file for DVD and then convert that for the web. Edited August 18, 2010 by ggrussell

You may also want to consider Roxio PhotoShow. You can create the slide show with PhotoShow version 6 on your computer and upload it to the PhotoShow web site for other to see and you can burn a DVD directly from the program on you computer. You can try it here. The free PhotoShow has a limit of 24 images, no video and the PhotoShow is available for one month. You cannot burn it to disc.

 

Note: PhotoShow does slide shows and you can add some SHORT videos. If you need more than the above advice is good.
