Cannot Launch "copy And Convert Video"

I have recently (within last two months) bought Creator 2010. I was REALLY satisfied with it until today, when I tried to do my first web video capture and I found that I every time I try to launch the Copy and Convert Video and all I get is a processing icon for 5 seconds, and then nothing. Also, when I try to launch the Create DVDs option, it tells me I do not have the necessary permissions. Please help!

There are two (2) downloads that you need to make and install. They are here (link).

You should have gotten a message about them. One is SP2 and the other is to fix the issue. You must have SP2 installed to install the other.

I have installed Service Pack 2 and the patch, and the result is the same... "No permissions" window to Create DVDs, no response other than a momentary progress bar for "Copy and Convert" video. Any ideas?

It is NOT SP2! It is the May update listed below it that fixes it…

 

From your Home app, if you click on Help – About it must show up as SP2.1, not just SP2.
