Azure639
I'm on Win XP Home, SP2; HP laptop. Disk space is fine. Bought retail package. First attempt to install started and failed (according to dialog box). Rebooted, tried again. This time, dialog said it succeeded, however there's no icon on Desktop or All Programs. Looking further, the only files that laid down were for the USB driver. Device Manager reported it wasn't working. Ran a couple of exe's I found in the usb directory. Now DM reports device is OK. Attempted reinstallation of whole package. STILL, NO FILES LAY DOWN IN "PROGRAM FILES\ROXIO". I've looked at the list of common solutions and nothing matches what I've experienced. Has anyone solved this? Tech Support has been completely worthless, only sending a generic "we're looking at this" message.
0 grandpabruce
The minimum system requirements state that if you have the XP 32-bit OS, you need to have SP3 installed. Here are the listed minimum requirements: http://www.roxio.com/enu/products/easy-vhs-to-dvd/standard/requirements.html
