Steps From Vhs To Dvd

I've read a slew of articles here as well as the manuals. I still don't have a grasp on the steps that I should take when capturing home movies from a VHS tape with the intent to transfer to DVD. Capturing doesn't seem to be the problem, it's what do I do after that?

And, yes, I'm very new to this !!

Do you have Easy VHS to DVD? or another Roxio Product? There is a whole 'nother forum for that product but you can start by reading some of the pinned posts here (link)

I should have added that I have Creator 2010, SP2.
