Can Trim But Trim Does Not Output

Hi All,

 

I have imported a TIVO clip and I am trying to trim out all the parts I dont want. I have set my trim points trimmed. Under the ADD SOURCE the file shows and is showing the trimmed timed (trimmed from 60 minutes to 8 minutes). I have selected IPHONE as my output (although this happens with all output destinations), press the green next button and the ending starts at the begining of the original source clip and runs to the end. It creates an MPEG-4 file that is 60 minutes and not the 8 minutes desired.

 

Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

Sounds like you are using Video Copy & Convert

 

In the Edit mode, did you properly set the 'IN' and 'OUT' points? Grab the little gray triangles that I point to in the screen shot below. The area BETWEEN the triangles will be cut out.
