I have just got 2010 and attached my usb to my panasonic sd camcorder and roxio does not come up with the option of the camera and does not download, what am I doing wrong ?? any help

phil g

If you are using the Roxio Video Capture USB device, there will be an entry for USB 2861 but never the camcorder…

This may be of use, although 2010 automatically installs the drivers whether you need them or not! Here

What is the exact model name of the camcorder? If that has memory card or hard drive disc, then you should just be able to copy the video files, through the USB connection, from the camcorder's hard drive like an external hard drive. I believe you need to use a function in the camcorder to tell it to act like an external hard drive.
