My SVCD slide show stops before the last slide, which is one I inserted that says “end.” The preview works perfectly, and so does the mpeg version of the show. I’ve even tried to trick the program by inserting an additional end slide along with transitions to extend the play time, but the show still stops prematurely.

Why in the world are you burning a SVCD disc? The quality is bad and that can't be fixed; fewer and fewer players will play SVCD. How much video are you putting on a disc?

 

DVDs are inexpensive.
