Project Names

I am a new user to BOT Suite and created a project to back up specific files. I find the name BOT gives to this project to be cryptic. Can I file or rename saved projects to something meaningful to me?

I don't know of a way to change the name before it actually saves.I couldn't find an option for that.

 

Are you saving to disc or to an external drive?

 

If you're saving to a drive then what you can do is after you save then you can go to where the file is,right click and Rename.Just make sure that you don't change the .rfi file extension.

When you go to restore the program is only looking for files with that .rfi extension.It doesn't care what the filename is.

 

I appreciate your taking the time to respond to my quewstion. I did try to rename the file keeping the .RBC filetype. Bring up BOT again and he cannot find the file. He must have an index or lookup table to find his projects.

Tell me exactly how you are creating these files and then how you are trying to restore them.

I don't not have any files using a .rbc file extension.

I'm not sure we're looking at the same thing.

 

Are you using the stand alone BOT Suite 3 or something else?
