Burning Errors with Dual Layer DVD

tnt442

Question

This is my first attempt to burn Dual Layer DVD. I seem to have problems burning my ISO movie to a dual layer DVD. (Verbatim) After 46% I get the same error message. Medium error. seems odd that all the DL DVD's are defective.

Also I wanted to point out that I was having problems burning anything period, as well as program crashes. After thinking long and hard as to why EMC8 worked decent until a particular day, I then realized that I had just updated my PC with a bunch of security updates from Bill Gates and Co. So I ran system restore to the day before the updates and Voila! all the wierd issues with EMC8 went away. I am a little curious as to why EMC8 would be so fragile, that one can't add software or updates. Maybe I should post this issue as a seperate topic?

Anyhow below is the system Specs.
