Lost Cd Code, How To Upgrade

soundog

Question

Hi -- I bought Popcorn 1.0 long ago, and cannot find the packaging. The online "use last 5 digits of credit card" do not find a record of purchase (used older card?). If I launch Popcorn 1, it does display my name, company, and a 12-digit "TSID" number.

I would like to do an online upgrade to Popcorn 4.0. Is there a way to do this, or prove I am a registered owner?

Thanks.....

I upgraded today. It didn't ask me for any code after I signed in. When I copied the popcorn app to the app folder, it did ask for a key. The key is on the download page receipt from when you downloaded the upgrade. I hope this helps. BTW I'm having a few problems with 4 (you can read my post). I finally just got it to burn again. Not sure if I have completely fixed the issue. Good Luck.

Popcorn 4 is a paid upgrade, not a free update. There is no discount for having a previous version so it doesn't matter about your Popcorn 1 codes. By the way, Popcorn 4 has many additional features and improvements over version 1 so it is worth the money, in my opinion. If you're on Roxio's email list they sometimes send discount offers.
