Videowave 2011

LJSWales

Question

I have already installed Easy Media Creator 2010 which works fine. I have just installed Easy Media Creator 2011 and find that the new version of Video Wave displays the video in monochrome in the edit window. The video displayed in the time line is correctly shown in colour, taken a snap shot displays jpg file correctly in colour.

What I have tried so far is after backing up my existing system using True Image to reload windows 7 home premium edition, then all the required motherboard drivers and then only installing Easy Media Creator 2011 so nothing else could interfere with it, the problem was the same.

I also tried calibrating the monitor and using the monitors prefered resolution with no change.

The motherboard is an Asus M4N78 and I am using a GeForce 7300 GS video card with the latest NVidia drivers installed.

I have attached a jpg showing the display of both versions of Easy Media Creator.

So I have run out of ideas on this one.

Ok

In Creator 2011, did you select render in hardware or software mode? Select the other (in Video Wave, tools, options). Any better?

Clear the proxy files (same location).

Delete the dat file for that project.

Thanks I tried all of the suggestions, rendering in hardware as against software did result in the edit window looking a bit different but is still displaying in monochrome.

Thanks for your help, I will keep on looking and trying different things out like installing on a different computer to see if my computer is the problem which it could be.
