Dvd Menus

When I create a DVD, I usually use the "Cinema" menu format. For every movie you add to the DVD, Roxio inserts a little preview box on the menu. (I usually add a text box next to the preview box as a title for the movie.) When you playback the completed DVD, the main menu screen will come up, and the preview box of the first movie will be highlighted. If you use your remote to navigate to the second or third movie, its preview box will highlight so that you know where you are on the menu screen.

 

My problem is this: every now and then, when I playback a newly completed DVD, the preview boxes won't light up, and you have to guess your way around the menu screen. Any ideas what may be causing this random problem?
