Graham,

If you've done it before using the same system and it worked, what has changed on your system?

 

Have you perhaps inserted the USB device into a different socket? Do you have another USB gadget plugged in as well?

 

Those little things chew a lot of current, and while most USB sockets can provide the required amount some can't - especially those on the front of the machine connected to the motherboard with thin flying wires. Other gadgets could prevent the Roxio one from getting full power.

i used it on the same pc, only i had to reformat. ive updated all the drivers and am using the same rear usb socket as last time. i can get on the capture screen but no matter what i try it still says no sgnal

 

Do you show these drivers in device manager under sound video and game controllers, when the USB Device is plugged into a USB 2.0 port?
