How do you manually create a scene selection button on a DVD that you want to make and insert that into My DVD Express App? And how do you downlaod new available DVD menu styles from the Roxio website?

Sorry Chris,

 

Your software doesn't have MyDVD. It only has MyDVD Express, and I don't know any way of making the buttons you want done using that program.

 

 

The 'click to download more styles' is an invitation to buy additional styles, an option which was active when this software was first issued. The additional styles are no longer available. It should have been removed from the software when this cut-down version was released.

This, from ggrussell from years ago. It worked in EMC 9 and have no clue if it will work with the stripped down version that you have.

 

To make a button for play all and a separate button to link to chapters:

 

Open MyDVD

Select a style with text buttons only. I forget which I used, but it doesn't really matter

Add your video file.

Edit text to read 'Play Movie'

Copy this button to the clipboard

Move it slightly up or to the side

Paste the clipboard back.

Edit the text of this second button to read 'Select Scenes'

Right click on the second button and 'Edit Chapters'

 

You end up with two buttons that point to the same video. One plays the movie. The other button takes you to the Chapter submenu.

After doing the above, you can then edit the background and background music if you want.

 

And, to answer your second question, there are no DVD menus available for download.
