theoldarchiver
Encoding: 'Automatic' Video Quality: 'Best' should give good results. It really isn't that hard to make a fine DVD-Video from a good source. Save as disk image to be able to preview the result before burning. Mount the disk image. Open the VIDEO_TS folder in Apple's DVD Player to preview. If you like what you see, burn from the disk image using the Copy window in Toast. bjastrx
Thanks for these suggestions. I was particularly looking for the best configuration setting in Toast 10, to produce the best quality DVD from AVCHD .mts files.
theoldarchiver
... the best configuration setting to produce the best quality DVD from AVCHD .mts files? What makes you think the input format has any influence on the configuration for a certain output format? The settings only set the output video and audio specification.
